Rebalancing your skin's pH levels might sound complicated, but it takes just one product. Make p:rem has created a toner with a slightly acidic pH of 5.5, similar to the skin's natural pH values. It was designed for extremely sensitive skin, which is why the brand went for a very minimalistic formulation. It's ingredients include madecassoside, an active extracted from centella asiatica that effectively soothes the skin. It also contains citric acid — in a percentage tolerated by sensitive skin— to gently exfoliate and prep the skin for the next steps of the routine.
Pour a small amount of toner to your fingers and apply to your face by gently tapping the skin. Remember: try not to pull on your skin! If you prefer, you can also use a cotton pad, though Koreans never do that. Why? To avoid swiping the cotton pads over the skin, generating unnecessary waste and wasting toner (as pads soak up most of the product). Also, by using your fingers, the temperature of the toner will be similar to that of your skin.
Make P:rem is one of the most famous minimalistic cosmetics brands in Korea. This means that it uses a very limited list of ingredients to provide only the most effective components to the skin. Look them up on the INCI!
