Active Clean Serum
AHA BHA Exfoliating serum for oily skin and enlarged pores
Active Clean Serum 50ml is ideal for oily or spot-prone skin: its formula with AHA and BHA acts as an exfoliant, purifying pores and controlling sebum production on the face.
Include it in your routine for oily or combination skin - you'll see how your face's texture improves and how it reduces shine.
This exfoliating serum for oily skin contains 5% AHAs (2.8% lactic acid and 2.2% glycolic acid to be exact) and 0.01% salicylic acid. If you're not familiar with the acids in skincare or don't have our latest MiiN book, take note:
Glycolic acid is ideal for fading spots caused by blemish scarring and evening out skin tone; lactic acid acts as an exfoliant, purifying pores and removing impurities; salicylic acid is a real must-have in routines for blemished skin because it acts as an antibacterial to prevent anything from becoming infected or inflamed on your face while also controlling excess sebum production. At this point, our only question is: if your skin is oily, combination or shiny... haven't you put it in your trolley yet?
For all its exfoliating power, the Active Clean Serum 50ml formula is gentle on the skin. It also contains a combo of natural repairing extracts developed by Village 11 that completes its list of ingredients with extra protection and nourishment, perfect for preserving the skin even when you're exfoliating.
The texture of this serum is quite viscous. It spreads beautifully across the face and absorbs quickly, leaving a supple, moisturised finish ready for you to get on with your routine. Our top tip with this serum is to pour a little at a time because it goes a long way!
If you think Active Clean Serum 50ml would be great for you, keep an eye on the rest of the Active Clean range, especially the Active Clean Gel Cleanser.
Be careful! This product can be used in either your nighttime or your daytime routine, but remember that its formula contains AHA and BHA acids and it is recommended (especially if your skin is very sensitive or you are not used to it) to exfoliate your skin at night. If you decide to apply it during the day, it is mandatory to apply sunscreen and reapply it regularly to prevent your skin from being irritated by sunlight. In case of irritation, stop use and consult a specialist.
