Some sunscreens protect well but are difficult to wear every day: they feel heavy, leave a white cast or smell like a typical SPF. And then there are Korean sunscreens, the ones that feel light, comfortable and easy to wear. Aqua Fluid Sun Serum belongs in that second group. It has a fluid serum-like texture that spreads beautifully, leaves no white trace and feels comfortable even if you usually dislike thick or sticky sunscreens.
It is formulated with broad-spectrum chemical filters that provide SPF50+ PA++++ protection against UVA and UVB rays. That makes it a great daily sunscreen, especially if you want a lightweight formula that sits well under makeup or in routines where you do not want to feel lots of layers on the skin.
But like any good Korean SPF, it does more than protect. It contains niacinamide to help support the skin barrier and improve the look of the complexion, ectoin to back up hydration and help protect skin against environmental stress, and a complex with hyaluronic acid and glycerin that helps keep skin comfortable and flexible throughout the day. It also includes birch sap and a blend of soothing extracts such as aloe vera, violet, ulmus, Japanese yam and marine algae, a lovely combination when skin tends to get red easily or feels dehydrated after sun exposure.
The finish is fresh and lightweight. It does not feel greasy and really delivers on that skincare-meets-sunscreen idea that K-beauty does so well.
